A NOTE ABOUT "DECLAWING"
To declaw is to cut off a cats' toes above the second joint. Mutilating a living creature for convenience is inhumane and is not acceptable to the Washington Humane Society of Louisiana/Magnolia Chapter.

The Magnolia Chapter was formed in the spring of 2008 by a group of people concerned about the large number of un-neutered, un-spayed, roaming and/or abandoned cats and dogs in our community.
In 2017 we transitioned to Washington Humane Society with the same goals and programs for our area.
Our mission statement:"To reduce the number of unwanted animals in Washington Parish through education, spay/neuter programs and adoption/foster programs."
