We adopted little Gi Gi the Chihuahua a few months ago. She started out the first week roughly and we wondered if we did the right thing in bringing her home. She was very hard to handle and would NOT be picked up, unless it was on her terms. She is getting better and better and is quite a clever and playful pup. I'm glad we hung in there and didn't give up. She is turning into quite a nice little pet. Her thin frame is now a beautiful physic and shiney coat. She has adapted well to the other dogs and loves to play with her squeeky toy non-stop. If we only had that energy every day!! Thanks for not giving up on this cute little puppy either. She's getting better and better every week.

I wanted to let you know how much Charlie and I enjoyed the parade. We had a great time and Charlie says to tell you he was honored to be the Grand Marshal. Thank you for all the great things you do for the abused and abandoned animals in our area.

Well, it's me again. I just love to give updates on Sissy. She is a most precious little girl who has now grown up to be quite a little lady. She is very curious still. We have her and Roam Roam on the electric underground wire collar system and it works WONDERFULLY until Sissy's battery runs down. She loves to "test the water". When she does not hear the beep she will definitely go outside her boundary. But we keep her battery fresh and a new one on hand just in case. I love my girl and thanks again for being in Franklinton the day that SISSY came into my life. Happy Holidays!!!!!!!! Once again, if you'll let me know how I can send pictures, I would love for you to see my Beautiful Girl. Gina

Just wanted to give an update on Sissy. We absolutely adore our girl. Buddy "Roamer" loves her too. She has brought us so much joy. It was a relationship meant to be. I am so glad we met that day back in April. She is priceless. She goes to the Vet on Friday, December 17 for her updated Heartworm prevention and she can hardly wait. She just loves to ride. I would love to send pictures of her, but I don't know how. Let me know if there is a way I can send some pics of her and I will. Thanks again for another little life saved and the joy she has brought to our lives. Gina

I was in Franklinton April 10, 2010 and adopted a precious little girl that I am goint to name Sissy. I will pick her up today 4/14/10 and can hardly wait for her to meet her big brother "Buddy Roamer" . I wanted to name her Tin Tin, but my sister said I should name her "Sissy" from the movie Urban Cowboy (Bud & Sissy). So.... "Sissy" she is. Thank you so much for saving her from the pound. She will be much loved and cared for at her new Mississippi home.
