Louisiana Lab with Lagniappe

About Santana

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: Santana (Kay)
  • General Color: Black
  • Declawed: No
Santana was found withhis 3 sisters on a gravel road in the middle of a forested area. Our mostly rural, low income parish has a huge problem of abandoned puppies and kittens. He was about 8 weeks old then. He has been wormed twice and has had his first 2 puppy vaccinations. He is a lab mix, what we call a Louisiana Lab with Lagniappe. Lagniappe means "a little something extra". He is black with a white arrow on his chest and a couple of white toes. He loves to have his belly rubbed and is learning to live with cats. He will be easy to crate train, is wearing a red collar, and sits for a treat. If you can give a Lagniappe Lab a home, call Kay, his foster mom, at (985)335-0758. Our rescue group, the Magnolia Chapter of the Humane Society of Louisiana, has an adoption application and our puppy adoption fee is $40. We require spay/neuter. Santana will be neutered in November.
